Job description
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate small commercial package risks referred out of the RealTime system, including property, liability, and other coverages, using established underwriting guidelines and tools.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agents, and other distribution partners to promote the “RealTime” product.
- Inspection Reviews: Determine appropriate underwriting action needed as a result of mandatory recommendations or immediate action needed on inspection results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience, preferably with small business packages.
- Familiarity with technology-driven underwriting platforms is a plus.
