About the Role:
We are seeking a Underwriting Assistant to join our growing open market team focused on middle-market risks. In this role, you will support underwriter’s in production of new business, managing the existing book of business, and help communicate with our broker partners.

We strategically leverage our CAT capacity to write non-CAT risks across the country. What You’ll Do:

Prep new business accounts to enable Underwriters to jump in and quote the account
- Pre-vet submissions on behalf of the Underwriter

Oversee all ongoing file activity including assuring overall quality, timeliness, and accuracy of policies, endorsements, and all other active file correspondence and documentation

Work closely with broker partners
- Special projects as assigned by your Underwriter
What You’ll Need:

2+ years of experience in the insurance industry

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
