We are excited to announce we have added several talented underwriters and support staff to maintain our accelerated growth in the E&S MGU space.
David Lewis, of Boston co-founded Aspen Specialty with our CEO, Scott Hanson in 2003, and later was the founding executive of AmTrust E&S, developing a $370M E&S underwriting platform consisting of Commercial General Liability, Contract Binding, Excess Liability, and Professional Liability. David will serve as CrossCover’s Chief Underwriting Officer to enhance our products and develop diverse lines of business.
Nick Crowder will relocate from Houston to establish a Chicago office and continue our mission to leverage CAT capacity to write risks around the country. Joining Nick, will be Matt Ruwe with a decade of E&S property underwriting experience, along with a senior underwriter soon to be announced. These underwriters and their support staff will focus on Technical risks and will roll out CrossCover’s Builder’s Risk’s product in the next several weeks.
